We kept our Christmas cookie decorating tradition going strong. Theo's parents along with Bri and her brood joined us for the sugar fueled fun.

A Night in Bethlehem

Our ward did a fun theme for the Christmas party this year. it was a Night in Bethlehem. We were encouraged to dress up and they served food like breads, crackers, cheeses, roasted meats, and fruit. It was delightful. We even got a few friends to tag along. Ruby did not join us at the party.

Gingerbread Houses

Our household has been pretty full since July when Tim and Anne along with their two boys Symond and Max moved in. They are building a house of their own just down the street. In the meantime, we built some little houses of our own.

Martin Family Homestead

Theo's dad Allen has always been a storyteller. He often talks about his years living in Milford, Utah when he went on the Placement program. He loves talking about his culture and heritage. His earliest years were spent in Gap where his family had a large homestead comprised of an extended family with many homes and other structures. It is all gone now after the main hogan was destroyed by fire and the family moved to the LeChee area. In preparation for a documentary Shaun is getting ready to be a part of, Allen took us all out to the homestead on a sunny afternoon. Here are some of his comments.

Family Time

Drake is currently serving in the same stake as Skip and Laurene's ward. He has been hoping for a while that they could get together, and it finally happened just in time. Drake is being transferred, so this was a real blessing for him to be able to see some family!

Three-Peat!

The Page Sand Devils have won the division 3 state title for the third year in a row. My favorite part of it all is that Bowen and Corbin got to have this experience together!

Getting a Glimpse

Drake sends us pictures every now and then. Most of them are things that he has been able to do on his P-day. We love getting a glimpse into his missionary life in Washington.

College Readiness

Corbin has been ready to be done with high school for a while now. I think if you looked up senioritis in the dictionary, his picture just might be there. Corbin is planning to serve a mission this coming fall, but he is also looking at colleges for when he gets back. He received his first official acceptance today from none other than NAU.

R&R

After a hard days work on the cross country course, it is good to reward yourself with a little R&R.
